Chasing Amy after those have eased you in.
Armageddon or The Rock would be a good starting point for Criterion. Those two are pretty good entry level arthouse films that would give you a couple of cornerstones if you plan to delve further into the Criterion canon.

so im getting some criterion's and I was wondering if anybody has any recommendations

So I've heard. This is why I don't bother too much with serialised entertainment these days.
3 or 2 is the best season so sad that you don't like it more, at least you do somewhat. Finding Frances is the best thing he's done anyway. I do think it would be best seeing all of the episodes before it though, Nathan develops throughout the show and has a running story that kind of culminates in Finding Frances.
