I'd be more ok with the occasional late delivery (and it's only around one in ten for me with Prime) if Amazon's response to it was more ... well ... if Amazon actually had a response. Even an email or text.
Just had a look through my order history. Within the last 30 days I've place nine orders for Amazon Prime eligible items. Of those nine orders, three were delayed including the two packages I'm still awaiting. The other delayed order I actually paid for 1 day shipping because I needed it immediately, but I didn't receive it until a week after the order was placed.
To clarify one of those products is AmazonBasics brand. So Amazon is the manufacturer, the seller, and the courier and they still can't get me my package on time and couldn't be bothered to notify me of a delay until after it was supposed to have arrived.

Ordered an Amazon.com branded item that was shipped through their own courier service. "Guaranteed delivery date"? Yesterday. Didn't come yesterday. Didn't come today. Supposedly coming tomorrow - two days after the two day delivery date. Oh and another order that was "guaranteed" delivery today is now coming... whenever the hell it gets here I guess. No updated delivery date. Just "delayed.' Seems like every other order I place winds up with delays. Think I'll be doing my holiday shopping elsewhere.
Are those listed as Prime shipping items? Not everything is eligible for Prime shipping. I've never had issues with Prime. It's the third-party sellers I typically have issues with, and Amazon can't do much about that. Love my Prime!
Yes, yes they are. And again, one of those items is even an Amazon branded product being shipped by their own courier service. There's nobody to blame BUT Amazon. I've had problem after problem after problem for about the last year and I'm not alone.
Wow, I just got rep for a 14-year-old post.

Just last month I paid for one day shipping on an order - and received it more than a week after the promised delivery date.

Their service used to be so good. Seems they don't give a damn about their customers anymore.
That's why I didn't lose any sleep over dropping Prime.

Now that Walmart is offering free 2 day, I'm sure they'll have a streaming service aoon.
