Ezikiel--your high school has to have some sort of honors english program and AP program. It is alot of work, and you do commit yourself to work harder, but the intellectual benefits are worth it. Most programs are extraordinarily fast paced, but I find it to be educationally stimulating and challenging as well. In my experience you will usually get teachers who actually give a rat's a$$ about what they're teaching and who they're teaching.
College is for suckers. I gotta go get some sleep for class tomorrow morning.
Take that back, Ezikiel. Just keep a killer G.P.A and get your college paid for.
I feel as I don't belong in my classes, all the work is far too easy. We never get assigned essays, or book reports, and the test are so incredibly easy it's ridiculous. I need a challenge at school, I mean, I don't belong with the people in my classes, take my English class for example, most of the students don't even know the meaning of the word 'wit', and that's just plain embaressing. Give me a challenge High School!
yeah im trogging through it. I really dont miss tests. im not in my thrid year at Uni, and luckily or unluckily whichever way you look at it, i dont ever have to do tests, my degree is 100% coursework. Which is quite good really. Although when you have 9 essyas due in on one day, its fatal.
Ahhh. . .modernism. Fun stuff, I am looking at the literary modern movements right now in class. I am sure you'll get it done. I hate tests, especially the unpredictable kind; the kind that you have to study everything for because you never know whats going to be on the test. Blargh and bhakti.
I know how you feel Glitter, ive been trying to write an incredibly good essay on Modernism for the last two days and fear i have failed miserbaly. Ive done 1700 words so far, got 2500 to reach by tomorrow at 3
