The Shoutbox
Oh, and modest goals. Modest goals are important.
The more I try my hand at this music thing the more I realize the following: 1.) I will die a nobody that has never been heard outside of a few hundred people 2.) my idea of life/what I expected from it is not too far off the mark from what everyone says about musicians (i.e. dying poor with no recognition) 3.) the people who did actually made it had one thing in common and that was simply not quitting.

So yeah, not quitting, properly won't be successful, found out that's more freeing than I realized, and I'm ready for the next 50-60 years of trawling the gutter.
Anytime mon brave.
lol.
...to burning down the house. Thanks for the laugh.

You don't know how close I am....
Uh-oh, I'm sensing that this might be on heavy rotation before long....
lol
I'm thinking.... to build a vault and burying her in there at this point, handles or not!
I'm not surprised they've quoted that it would take them so long if you stuck your mom to the old handles - what were you thinking
listening to guys rip apart an old countertop is making me sick.

Also, if you ever want to install new shower faucets, they apparently have to cut a hole large enough in front of or behind the current faucet to modify the copper piping. No one says this on the phone when you schedule and it eats a day, plus another contractor to add new sheetrock and patch/paint the hole. Would have been nice to know that two weeks ago when we scheduled it. Looks like mom is stuck with the old handles.
