had to get a new washing machine. Circuit board had gone on the other one so was 'beyond economical repair' as a new board was £150 on it's own without labour. Expensive business just after Xmas too
welcome back. Did you overindulge NYE?
I'M BACK!
The ballot for the MoFies is up. Check out the thread & vote!!!

Indeed. I swear by THESE. Last pair lasted about 6-7 years before the foot bed was just completely shot.
Absolutely knackered.

1:40am and the poker night has now finished.
What a great night.

Nice and quiet, laughs and beers with junk snacks and various other alcohol... and more poker...

Could sleep for a week now.

Wow, I get the Restoration Hardware e-newsletter nearly every day but never saw slippers on it! (I get it because I searched for specific Victorian outlet covers and hardware for our house.)

I have slippers something like that, from Walmart for about ten bucks. I buy a new pair every year or two, though, because I practically live in them all fall/winter/spring and they wear out.

Nice one Rodent, and good work Godoggo
My goal for 2015 is to spend less time online, and more time watching movies and reading books... but right now I'm like screw it! This forum is too adicting.
Just bought a NAS. Was in a bit of a panic yesterday when one of my hard drives decided to have a death rattle.

The one with all my music, pictures, documents etc on it. The important one.

Managed to copy everything over to a spare drive just in time but instead of buying a new HD I found a 3TB NAS which will store everything centrally, away from the PC and can be accessed by all of my devices.

My plan now is to begin converting my DVD collection to video files and store them on the NAS. This might take a while.
