He will always be better when he collaborated with Brennan.
Chappelle's Stove Top joke was almost a callback to the "purple stuff kid" from his show.
In all respect, Attell is great and has the respect of his peers.

He also only wants to do casinos and isn't gonna probably ever put out a proper special again. Whatever a special is nowadays that Netflix is slowly strangling the life outta CC.

Bargatze is the top of the heap right now.

I enjoyed Chappelle's openness when it came to joking about why he left his show, and how that played out. He ended on a GREAT anecdote... or at least referencing that book. I thought it was pretty heavy and risky as a comic to get philosophical like that, but he used his platform very well I thought. Both shows felt organic and honest. And I laughed my ass off.

Then Attell and Ross being Attell and Ross at their best: improve and riffing on the audience. I miss Insomniac with Dave Attell!!
Yeah, I enjoyed them both. Pretty raw stuff. Definitely different, but I appreciated that about them.
Also Dave Chappelle's latest two standup specials were great, IMO.

A Netflix Kevin Costner movie seems better than all those combined...
