Must admit that I use 'literally' ironically, seeing as the internet is peppered with its mis/overuse.

My eyes were watering though.
Are they watering or are they literally watering? Now they've changed the meaning of that word I no longer know. It also means we literally no longer have a word in English which means literally, which is literally ridiculous seeing as we literally used to have one.
Asides from the countryside being noisy, today it is also incredibly smelly. All you townies expecting your burgers and fries - look at what you put us rural folk through!

Slurry spreading season started on Monday...

Wow. My eyes are literally beginning to water.

Including The Treasure of the Sierra Madre was a nice touch.

They've also got a call that sounds like a machine gun. That's great first thing in the morning and I've got at least one mating pair of the buggers in the trees behind the house.

The countryside's bloody noisy ... and the starlings ain't even here yet.

Anyone here hate magpies? I hate magpies.

No joke... I was going to ask this in a "True or False" thread. I was watching a film, and heard one. Sounds like a baby making a weird cry. I remember the first day in Australia hearing them... So annoying. Such a horrible sound! Almost as bad as an alarm clock!
