It's been that way for at least the eight years that I've been here, though. In some ways it's frustrating because it's more satisfying to get a reply, but at the same time to me it indicates that people are reading the post - it's just that they don't have anything to really say about it. It's better to get reps and not replies than to get no response at all.[/quote]

After 2 months here, one thing I have noticed is that people will send you rep rather than post a reply. It's nice to receive rep, but it gives the impression in the thread that nobody is reading what you've posted. I've noticed myself doing it too. Instead of taking the trouble to post a reply I just send rep.[/quote]
