The Shoutbox
I' m not much of a sports fan but I do like baseball. But prefer to see it on tv. Maybe b/c the times I've seen pro ball, we were in the seats where the clouds and eagles and Cessnas are 2 inches above our heads. 🙄I also go to a Super bowl party which is indoors. Much better. They have pizza and chicken and sausages and lasagna and a table long hero sandwich and ice cream too. Much better. Plus the gals usually sit around and play board games and gossip- ya don't even have to watch the game.

I am a fan of live music tho. Nothing compares to hearing and seeing a fave musician live on stage. And many of the types of musicians I like ; folk, country, singer- songwriter - like Emmy Lou Harris and Joan Baez and Willie Nelson- seem to come across even better live than on record or tv or movies. Lucky to have seen a few of these . And
I' m usually pretty close to the front row- and the ground.

I guess you can still sell the experience.
I'd say almost the opposite. Cost aside, seeing a sporting event live totally changes how you view that sport. I can't really watch hockey on TV, for example. Not interesting. But when I went to a pro hockey game once, wow! Amazing! This is especially true with baseball. I can watch it on TV because I love the sport, but attending a game at the ball park is marvelous.
There are plenty of activities, but I don't know if that's really a selling point to get someone to leave their house and begin the process.

Welcome to North Carolina, not even 15 minutes from me.
Going to the PGA event today. One of those "don't wanna, but need to do things you would rather not" type deals.

As in, I would rather stay home on a Sun and get my ducks in a row for the upcoming week.
