Yeah, that's at once the benefit and downside of this site having proved so resistant to the wider meme culture of the Internet - you miss out on a lot of obnoxious stuff, but every once in a while something like that slips through and you haven't built up the right immunity to it so it's all too easy to take at face value.[/quote]

The context is what makes it so funny. I tell CDB that his forcing memes on this place isn't working because most people don't know (or care about) the memes, he responds by posting the Navy Seal copypasta (itself a meme that nobody here seems to know or care about - I get the impression you don't), and that combines with its already-aggressive nature to help him get banned. As for "Jase", he wanted to complain about my "stupid talk" in that same post even though it gets results like this.[/quote]
