Re cable: the only reason we still have it is TiVo. I'm able to network the whole house for 1/4 of what it would cost from the cable company. So yeah, it might be "expensive" but it's a cheap "expensive". If that's even such a thing.
Watching SOS Titanic (1979).

Seen a few Titanic movies... and James Cameron's Titanic contains scenes that mirror those movies... but SOS Titanic is almost shot for shot, exactly the same as Cameron's movie.
Hell, it even has a returning cast member in David Warner.

Depending on how you look at it, Easter being six days from now is either particularly painful or completely appropriate. I hope/pray it's the latter. A reminder of rebirth is what a lot of people will need this week.
Doesn't sound like they have any idea of what caused it or how many people might have died yet.
Heartbreaking. So much history, so much art.
Sad to see Notre-Dame ablaze

Yeah, a big part is how many extra channels you have, those add up so quick. Cable's really expensive if you get more than a couple movie channels, or whatever.
We're gearing up to UN-bundle because our bill is way too high and we just don't watch most of what's in our bundle. We're looking to save literally hundreds of dollars a month by keeping streaming services for the channels we actually do watch...
