With no research, seems like the Black album had hit, definitely got to second base with To the Extreme, but nothing ever spoke to me like that Chili Peppers album.
The earnest and pungent vocals, slappidy-slap-slappy and Frusciante making the heaviest organic sound I had ever heard. Plus, the vulgarity of the album hits like only a “kid that shouldn’t be listening to this” can appreciate.
