Hey, what do you know, the weatherman actually delivered today. They said rain and we got rain. Unlike the last two weeks when it was all "oh god it's going to rain" and we didn't get a single drop.

But perhaps it might be for the best 'cos a flooring crew turning up with a window really doesn't bode well imo. And an estimated one at that, so even had it been suitable to walk on there's no guarantee it would have fit

*we've had nothing. for the most obvious correction that's bugging me still.
welp. flooring crew just bailed on me. they showed up at 11:30 with an estimated window between 8:00-11:00. As soon as he walked in, he said he couldn't do the job. No one told him he was pulling up linoleum. I told him it was on the invoice and paid for. He the complained that the measurements were wrong and... well. eh. doesn't matter. dude's boss told him to leave site and he would contact Home Depot. Word of warning: Avoid Lowes/Home Depot for anything requiring contractor work. We haven't nothing but grief with every step of this process.

there was a japanese company that made replica ww2 motorcycles like that. you can find them pretty cheap. basically like a lawn mower engine though. side car was optional. i was wanting one a few years back and read up on it. just can't remember the name now =\
