I had a number of ferrets from HS up until about 6 years ago. Adorable little things.

HMMMM. let me clarify. hamsters never procreated the **** out of me as a kid. that would just be impossible and super creepy on so many levels.

no, i had hamsters (as pets) as a kid that we, too, mistook for all male. turned out one or two weren't. we ended up with like double-digits in the hamster department.

My aunt once had 3 chinchillas. Except like in the movie “Splice” she confused their sexes and they procreated the **** out of each other until she had 30 and had to give them all away before they destroyed the apartment.
