Yeah, no worries, definitely wasn't taking a shot at you. It's still a decent suggestion, I could maybe bump the font size up a little.

Yea I see what your saying, I'll admit though I wasn't looking hard enough, you would think geez, the site must tell you somewhere the size limit is. so it must be on the page where u upload the photo
Also, "they" is me in this case. 
Not averse to suggestions, but I have to make all these decisions based on how most people use sites, so it's always a balancing act. Always happy to hear the feedback either way, though, provided nobody takes it personally if I decide most people are using the site some other way.

I'm just gonna be really blunt and say that I think, when people don't see stuff like that, it's usually because they just aren't looking for it, and font size usually has very little to do with it. In my experience, at least. You may be an exception.
I've learned over the years that there's really no way to make something obvious unless someone has sort of decided to try to figure it out already, and a lot of people just don't. They dive right in and if it doesn't work they just say it doesn't work and wait for someone to explain it. Definitely not saying this is you! But it's a lot of people.

They should make them big, I remember when trying to find a pic for Avi once on here and trying to resize it and didn't know what was wrong and oi look what it says on the bottom where u pic a 2nd option to upload photo lol.

Anyway, the main idea is that if someone has a problem, then they'll look at the page closer and see something like that. For common problems there's almost always something like that there.

Yea they are but in very small letters
I should probably make that even, but the layout is such that a little extra looks nice so I decided that was slightly better than making it easy to remember. I think the numbers are on the avatar upload screen anyway.
