Especially since my microwave has like three numbers on it that don't work so I can only fix it at certain times.
Yeah, I'm not into The Internet of Things, but one area where I like it is not having to update three or four appliance clocks around the house.

I'll see your two analog clocks and raise you a dumb cooker that needs to be adjusted manually

That's impressive that MX runs so fast on your old Thinkpad, especially as MX Linux is described as mid weight. You must have the default Xfce desktop? What's your ram and CPU ghz? I'm curious as I had considered using MX myself.
CPU is a 2.4 C2D - T8300 (second fastest chip they put in those models) and 4GB of RAM.

I don't know. It's an ensemble piece full of wonderful performances, especially Ben Johnson, Cloris Leachman, and Ellen Burstyn. Naturalistic in tone, of course it is a zillion miles from "Moonlighting". Its closest cinematic cousin may be Hud, another Texas-set drama filmed in black-and-white adapted from a Larry McMurtry novel.
I liked the Moonlighting series back in the day and quite a few films starring Jeff Bridges, why am I hesitant to watch The Last Picture Show?

Ah, that makes more sense (though I'd still argue that the villains from the first two Terminator movies are more menacing than her).

I still have to give The Sarah Connor Chronicles a proper go - I watched maybe an episode and a half before getting sidetracked and never got back into it, but I've heard good enough things and there is a certain novelty to seeing the franchise actually take on a serialised narrative (even though it's arguably compromised by mid-2000s network TV standards).
Cereal Pancakes. And people accuse Hollywood of running out of ideas.

I still have about six that I have to change manually. It was fun last night, though, watching several digital clocks go from 1:59 straight to 3:00.
