Ah, I have a simple cold-brew apparatus (a Mason jar, a filter, and a lovely jar lid that's got a spout and handle), but that's for iced coffee only.[/quote]I bought a Bodum cold brew coffee maker. I've done the mason jar trick before, but it's kinda annoying. The Bodum has a lid with a filter plunger, much like a French press.

Ah, I have a simple cold-brew apparatus (a Mason jar, a filter, and a lovely jar lid that's got a spout and handle), but that's for iced coffee only. For hot coffee, I love the lazy ease of my coffee maker. 

I do have a collapsible electric kettle that I have taken to conferences where I wasn't sure they'd have coffee ready in the morning (since post-pandemic many hotels have taken coffee makers out of the rooms). Not ideal, but passable in a pinch.[/quote]
