If he got over 5% there would be federal funding for a third party and then they could be a part of the debates.

A little further west of you, it is all Trump signs. I've driven a hundred-mile diameter around the house in recent weeks. I've seen exactly two Clinton yard signs and hundreds upon hundreds of Trump signs.

Of course, the Clinton folks could be afraid to put out signs.

Oh, and I've seen exactly zero bumper stickers for either candidate. Nobody wants to make that big a commitment, apparently.
Ohioans near me use bumper stickers all the time for any issue.

I don't get why you 'mericans use signs and stickers for this sort of thing.
In the UK it's a given that you never tell anyone what you're voting for, and have voted for, once the election has happened.
I wonder how many votes 'None of the above, let's start this whole thing over' would get if it was on the ballot?

Maybe it speaks to the innate nature of blokes to tinker with things and pretend that they've actually accomplished something significant. See also: Barbecues.
There's something primeval about fire tbh.
Having an actual fire going, whether in a fireplace or in your garden, sitting by a fire you've created is probably the most pure thing a person can do.
BBQs as well. Cooking over a fire outdoors.
