The Shoutbox
I don't put SC and 90s Ace in the same category, one i'd miss one i wouldn't, you decide which is which. Yeah your right i'd miss SC!

Still if a certain amount of reports meant thread deletion, i think SC would rack them up.

The site's been cleaned up now, but they've been here for hours. Everyone's been posting in the Shoutbox instead of in normal threads.

With the automatic system 5 people disliking the poster and not the thread is enough to have it deleted.

Yeah, I see what you mean. (However I wouldn't put SC and 90s Ace in the same category.)

Maybe Yoda can find someone he trusts who can be a mod around the time the current mods aren't normally here?

There must be some solution that's better than everyone hiding out in the Shoutbox.

Better late than never.

Maybe we can learn something from this so it doesn't happen again in the future.
Unless you want to give the Mods work schedules it's unavoidable. Still it's quickly dealt with oonce a mod is online, something i can't say about a few other forums i've been a part of.

Somebody suggested having threads automatically deleted if enough people report them.

Maybe something like that can be added to the site?
For Spammers that would be perfect, but alot of people will report Sc's stupid threads that end up alot of fun.

I never even thought about people reporting threads like that. I didn't even know this site had a report button until a few days ago when someone asked me if I reported his post.

I always thought the report button was for valid reasons, like SPAM and other types of attacks.
WTF
I thought that system already existed.

I still suggest a CAPTCHA system, unless there has been one installed since I first registered and that this round of bots somehow managed to surpass it.
