I started at age 3 because my eyesight was so bad. Hated the doctors poking around at my eyes.

My eyesight has actually improved over the years though.
My prescription keeps changing every time I get new glasses.
I started wearing glasses at age 8. Then I could see with my entire eyeball with I got contacts at 13, but for the last 10 months I've been wearing glasses again.
Numbers mean nothing to me... I'll post up on Monday after my eye exam what they are.

My eyesight is for sh*t without lenses.

It's so bad in fact, that if I lost my "bad" eye (lazy eye), my right eye... it would make no impact on my life at all.
Speaking of prescription, I remember my contact lenses being at -6.50 and -7 - anyone else with really bad vision?

Standards have slipped yet again in Britain.
Maybe you can find a pair of glasses that already have your strength at a pharmacy? It's happened to me, and I've found some in funny places. Once found a pair in Thailand at an outside market that were close enough to get you by. They're usually really cheap, and if you have the same vision in both eyes, you won't need Monday
My lenses are totally different for each eye.

Prescription only I'm afraid.

I'm 1/3 blind in one eye, 3/4 in the other so I need some seriously different lenses to get back to 20/20.

Poker night at mine again tonight

Moved the living room around again. Made a slight adjustment this time so there's more room.
Example:
I buy the cheap end of ASDA stuff and my shopping is about £25 a week.
Tesco and Morrison's costs 3 times as much.
Lidl would cost about £15, but you'd either not eat it because it tastes awful, or throw it out the next day because it's gone rotten.
ASDA is crap tbh.

It's kinda mid range. Tesco, Morrison's and the like are expensive for what they offer. Then there's the cheap end like Lidl and Happy Shopper which a re super cheap but the products are gash.
Yeah, there's only 2 Asdas with opticians over here but fortunately one is 20 miles down the road.
We had a massive ASDA built at the end of the street but no optician.

Yet another slip in standards. They built that place and it's totally useless.
