Oh yeah. Bad beats are awful, especially in the river. Especially when they don’t even have any business remaining in the hand to begin with

KQ is actually a pretty good hand, considering they are A) connected and a decent start at a straight, and B) two over cards that, even if faced with a starting pair by your opponent, doesn’t put you behind much unless they have a pocket ace (which he did, unfortunately) but even against low pairs, the percentage isn’t that wildly against you, where if you hit a K or Q, or even both, in the flop, you’re ahead.
Last time I won at poker was when you sponsored me. And I had no idea what I was doing.
