Two movies that made my list of films that everyone hates but I love.....but it seems everyone does love them. They were in my Top 5 along with the Die Hard rip-off Sudden Death.
for what it was, The Quest wasn't awful for me, Directorial debut for JCVD, co-written by THE Frank Dux, haven't seen it for years but I remember it being super cheesy
Ooh!
Stallone got 2 masterpieces with Rocky and Rambo...

The rest are either half decent, or forgotten.

I think with Stallone hitting two solid movies at the start of his career is a factor for the rest being forgettable.

Personally though, I think Cop Land is his acting masterpiece.
Actually yeah, Time Cop and Hard Target were pretty solid.

Never got into The Quest.
I think with it being based on apparent true stories, but are more hearsay, kinda removed me from it.
Bloodsport, Kickboxer, AWOL, Hard Target, Timecop, and of course Universal Soldier, Dolph was great

Nah, Arnie's best movie was Predator

Like Van Damme... he's made a handful of half decent films, but his best film in his catalogue will always be a-close-to-perfect movie with Universal Soldier.

Weird how some actors, especially action... they have a load of cack movies, and a handful of watchable ones... and there's like, one masterpiece amongst the lot.

Seagal with Under Siege... Van Damme with Universal Soldier... Willis with Die Hard...

But a lot can be said about the director rather than the actor though.
I'd argue the Van Damme one. I feel like there are multiple movies that people would say is his best/most memorable with the most popular one being Blood Sport.

I'm a fan of Time Cop myself.

With certain people if you say think of the actor and what movie comes to mind first, for Arnold it would have to be Terminator right? With Willis it's like you said Die Hard.

Van Damme though? I feel like it could be more than one.

I liked Hard To Kill and Marked For Death when they were released, I even liked Glimmer Man, but that's pretty much it other than Under Siege

I think you should definitely have a go at Under Siege.
Even though it's Seagal, it's a solid action movie tbh.
Thanks but I just don't do action films, at least usually I don't like them unless they have some singing and dancing in them!
