Now my power is out.
And I feel the squirrel on my porch remembers. Somehow blaming me for my lack of response.
Our first year here I watched a squirrel get pummeled by a surprise hail storm. It fell from the tree and twitched. After the hail abated, I checked on him but it was too late.
I tried to read that but a squirrel distracted me.
Squirrel apparently did not appreciate me exploiting him in his time of need and, after chittering what I can only assume are some harsh words, hopped over to a adjacent tree branch. It was impressive.
Work called and canceled my shift. Snow storm and all that. Filmed a squirrel trying to hide in my back porch, desperately seeking warmth
