The Shoutbox
Well, to be fair, the Goa explosion occurred in the early and mid-90s, and then the music sort of morphed and eventually fell under the Psy-Trance nomenclature of the late 90s and early 2000s. I only know because I was a Goa/Psy-trance DJ in the Boston rave scene back then.

Wow, I didn't know the place had a music genre named after it. And I'm in my early 30s and a regular visitor to that part of the country since childhood.

You're welcome here. Remember to skip the famous Goa, which is usually frequented by the foreign tourists for the beaches. The villages to the North of Goa are quieter, cleaner and devoid of crowds.

By the way this was my backyard, which is still largely unknown to the general public.

Elders always know best!

(I can wholeheartedly endorse this statement now that I qualify as one in Vegas )
No danger of flooding, unless there's a proper storm which is a rarity in this region. There are thick clusters of coconut tress and barriers made of laterite stones which act as protection against the sea if it swells. The old folks really know their construction stuff.

But, yeah, this is a nice place to hangout, especially in the evenings.
Nice backyard Wrinkles! Looks like it might be in danger of flooding though
