I thought Close did a good job. Hillbilly Elegy wasn’t great, but I don’t think it was as bad as people said.
That movie is dreadful. I love Glenn Close but it will be sad if she finally gets a long-overdue Oscar for a steaming pile of white trash.
I hope Glenn Close gets nominated.
I predict Nomadland, Trial of the Chicago 7, Mank, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Promising Young Woman will do well and be nominated for best picture.
