so i dreamed i ended up at Thom Yorke's house. i think Ed O'Brien was there too. i don't know how or why i was there. they didn't seem to know me, but didn't really make an effort to question it. they were recording some song in a bedroom studio. Yorke had a StudioLive sIII mixer that he was recording through, to a computer. they had one mic between them. Yorke would sing the melody with O'Brien making odd ghostly sounds with his mouth in the background. Yorke kept stepping from the keyboard synth to sing into the one mic and would occasionally place his hand to the side of the mic to slightly block O'Brien when he got too loud. It was so strange how real it was.
When the song ended, I asked what he thought of the StudioLive mixer and Yorke didn't really know what to say as he apparently wasn't very tech savvy on this device. He pulled some notepad that he wrote some of the specs on at some point to hand me in an attempt to answer my question. I told him I had the same mixer. He then starts describing a plugin in that he can't get the mixer to recognize and asked if I could take a look. I panicked because I didn't know enough to return to whatever his current settings are in case I end up screwing something up, so I sheepishly backed down.
The song was pretty cool, but I don't remember how it sounded now to try to reproduce it.
