I managed to last an hour at my folks' place before admitting defeat and going home. Lord knows how I managed the drive both ways.

Am now debating whether to even bother going to bed. If this morning's performance was anything to go by I'll spend half an hour rooted to the spot screaming in pain halfway between the bed and the doorway with my walking stick out of reach on the floor.
