Just tested restoring from an older Clonezilla image: June of this year. Two hours later and I'm back in time. Now to test the new restore I just made and GO BACK TO THE FUTURE!

That's wasted 3 hours. Spent the morning cleaning the DVDs.
Most were ok... but, here's a tip for anyone who is thinking of cleaning a disc... us water, and a soft cloth.
At some point in the past I used one of those cleaning devices that has a little spray bottle of cleaner and a sponge. I think I got it as a crappy Christmas present from someone.
When I looked at the Terminator DVD, it had a layer of film on the disc that smelled like the leftovers of spilt vodka
You could actually feel the film with your finger as it was so thick. Ugh.
Disc is clean now, but sadly it looks as though the cleaning fluid crap has eaten the plastic slightly. Disc still works though.
Top tip, use water and a soft cloth.
Forget those daft cleaning fluids, they just ruin the discs.
