Kinda sounds like people work extremely hard to disguise its taste. It's like people who have a good steak cooked well done with ketchup, at that point you probably don't actually like steak.

Well you're supposed to have it with other stuff and not on its own, and everyone says it's really very nice. I wouldn't know, as I was vegetarian before i moved here, so had an excellent excuse to never try it.

I think it's illegal to fly with - unless it's urban legend, the cans could explode.

Well, it did win most disgusting food ever by some extreme food blogger. It was up against something equally horrific from Iceland. One of the funniest things I've ever read in my life.
