The Shoutbox
I don't REALLY mind Christmas movies. Even those Hallmark ones. One thing that I will admit to, however, as being a complete waste of my soul was watching last night's The Masked Singer 2-hour special. Turned out to just be a rehash of the last several seasons of Christmas episodes or something without revealing any of the final three contestants.

Please know that I've never seen this show before last night. My knowledge shared above is all that I could gather from this 2-hour marathon of patience. Oh. I'm sure Macy Gray is the Sea Queen.
The Polar Express comes to mind first. Mythbusters needs to attempt the hot chocolate dance. There's no way that train car wouldn't be drenched afterwards.
Do any of the Christmas movie gang ever feel worse after watching ______ movie? Ever thought, “That was a waste of time?”

Or is it just like holiday overindulgence, “that’s a January problem”.

I posted them in the Rate the Last Movie You Saw thread. One was a 1954 TV production with Fredric March as Scrooge. The second was a 1935 version with Sir Reginald Hicks playing Ebenezer and the last was a 2012 Irish production that leaned heavily on gloomy symbolism mostly due to a limited budget.
🛋️ 😞

I haven't seen Candy Cane Lane, but I have seen several Hallmark and Netflix Christmas movies.
