The Shoutbox
Netflix is responsible for everything that is wrong in the last decade. Discuss!
So there's a cherry pit spitting competition starting on the Ocho just now. A spit-tacular event. Slow-replays and all. 31'. Wow.
Also, Witcher?

In all seriousness, keep the Star Trek series, Breaking Bad, and bring back Battlestar (reboot) and I'm good to go for the rest of my days on an infinite loop from one to the other.

Totally agree, at least as it is now. I've not really considered what the Disney+ might do to shake up streaming access, but it's not an issue for me ...yet. For me, the biggest factor that might play a role in pulling me to their dark side would be movie accessibility. I don't really care what movies are available, but being able to rent something for streaming is a plus. I've noticed Amazon will release access for a recent theatrical release, but first access is purchase only. Weeks (maybe months) later then does the option to rent become available. Drives me nuts! I've also noticed that AMZ has started upping the price for SD content to match their HD option. Or that has been the case with the last several rentals I've made. I don't really want to buy a digital copy. Especially if I missed it in theaters. If Disney plays with that, that could be interesting for me. Otherwise, I'm fine with white noise movies from NF for a good while longer. But I enjoy most of what is available still.

Yeah, frankly, offhand I doubt Netflix feels threatened just yet. Are they going to carry a lot of non-Disney-type content?
Disney+ comes out the day after I get back from my trip to Disney World y'all.

Coincidentally it's the same day I smash that cancel button on my Netflix account.
I blindly patronized a Denny's, sorry Ice Cube. For a Club sammy.

An $11 club with "2" pieces of bread. Today was not a good day.
