The Shoutbox
and while that's fine, you miss it because of it...
what do you mean could you tell me please??
It was an understated performance in a film of overstated performances, and while that's fine, you miss it because of it...

Meanwhile, watch this.
It's the [url=http://storm.prohosting.com/~mattjc/view/redux.html]Ballpocalypse Now Redux[/i].
I think without Robin's character it wouldn't have opened up the flud gate need for Penn's Emotional turns and Up & Down behavior. What Wright's Performance also does is give the film a needed outlet of stress release and tenions control without these's Meg's Timely scene nearing the end wouldn't have come off as great so I think while Wright's Character wasn't written as fineline there a lot more to her than Ryan's fun bip-bop-be- do I love you performance. look deeper into what Wright created and accomplishes with each new scene it's very strong.
Yeah, did a good job, but her part wasn't interesting compared to any of the others. Of all the female players I personally feel that the (disapoiningly off-sceen) balloon art house exotic dancer with an enthusiasm for giving head to drivers -- the wonderful Meg Ryan -- stole the show female wise. Next to the Spacey/Penn conversations at either end of the film, it was her discussion with a high Penn that totally made the middle for me.
Robin Wright is the ladies name that's drawing a mental blank SB. I think the whole cast did a fantastic job.
Yes.
I quite enjoyed it. Anna Paquin needed more screen time in my opinion. She was very good. Much more deserving of screen time than what's her name. Not Meg, the other one, who's name eludes me.
Kevin Spacey & Sean Penn's Character made me think about friendships and the way people treat each other. How things that may be little to one can be huge to another. immortance and trust that people so willingly put into the hands of the people they love. Quite bit to what Spacey had to say nearing the end when he leaves really hit a cord of truth within me on an emotional and thought-provkingly level.
Oh, I already have. I saw it last night.
I'm contemplating perchasing it on DVD, simply for the performances. Sean Penn, Keven Spacey and Meg Ryan all really appealed to me in this film, as did all the others, but particularly these three.

I love films with lots of talking with these people who can't work out their lives. They sound exactly like myself with my friends. It's funny when you can watch a film about people older than you and feel nostalgia.
I good thanks

I thought it's been a while since we've had one of our shout sessions, and this time I actually have something worth asking. Tell me, have you you seen Hurlyburly and what did you think of it?
