The Shoutbox
OG-, that's awesome.
Isn't A Link to the Past available on the VC over there?
Yoda, that's like the shortest news article I've ever seen.

I have that Zelda for GameCube. It's pretty good but, still doesn't top the days of N64.
Well, I reckon Yoda is referring to the Wii version, which is indeed pretty kick-ass. Actually swinging your sword and such to vanquish baddies adds another layer of charm to the classic Zelda videogame idea.
Well, PlayStation 3 supply concerns have been more or less rectified. But demand hasn't kept up.

Meanwhile, I think I need to start a thread about The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's unbelievable.
That's....horrible...
Yes... Tis true, I am afraid... Here is a little blurb I found about it, which is hilarious:

"Of course, the first couple times of use, it seems safe and non-murderous enough. You set it down. It glides slowly around the kitchen floor, cleaning up all manner of dirt, pet dander, and discarded microscopic human flesh. But before you know it, it’s trashed your house, keyed your car, and eaten little Sparky the poodle for fuel. And then after replicating itself to look like your Great Uncle Harry and then faking its death to collect the insurance and then using the money to construct a giant laser that resembles a shlong to blow up the Earth...it’s hostile takeover should be obvious to anyone. Alas, it will be too late!"
That's odd. Can't remember anything unusual at all -- let alone something like that -- happening to me at an ATM.
SOmeone gave me a robo-maid. The thing scoots around the house dusting the hardwood floors, and is clearly the newest weapon in my arsenal against the fluffy little ****.
SC, it seems you are not the electronic whiz kid you wish you were.

I had an AC adapter almost melt while in the socket yesterday. I smelled plastic burning in my office and couldn't place it for an hour ... till I touched the adapter in the wall and it was really HOT! I yanked it outta the wall right away.

Electrical-engineer hubby says it could easily have caught fire while plugged in like that. I'm glad it didn't happen overnight when I wasn't in the upstairs office!!
