Beats me. I'd expect a bit of that, but it's been happening a lot more lately. I've even got several distinct people insisting that "someone" told them they could download movies here. My guess is there's some site with a similar name that people are confusing with this one. Either that or people tell their friends to Google some phrase that we come up highly for.
