The Shoutbox
Some of the dialogue in the early sections is pretty rough (there's one pretty embarrassing scene where the characters sit around a table and whine about political correctness), but I think the mix of real time suspense and splatter movie violence in the third act save the movie. Also, say what you will about Gibson but he's really ****ing good here.

Best paired with Sicario 2 for some nice, neo grindhouse vibes.
You talking about Dragged Across Concrete ? If so, I can’t.

That dialogue was really bad and forced. The blocking was horrid. It felt like watching a nature survivalist who edited together shots from the 30 stationary cameras they set up.

Long ago was the time I gave up any pretension about film. If it’s not working for me, I’m out. Looking at you Titane and The Northman.
I felt like that lack of energy is supposed to be on purpose. They hate each other.

You should try again and soldier through to the end because the final payoff is insanely good.
First time I think I ever gave up trying to watch something and decided to be productive. There was some Mark Damascus in Bangkok movie that I tried and it went the way of the Concrete.

Let’s get started on these window coverings at O’ one-thurty.
Good night, sweet prince.
okok that's enough silliness from me for the day. judging by the shadows across my wilted sentry plant, it's time to crash.
Well, you know what Gibson says.
Shake. Your. Love. Just can't shake---your love.

amirite?
Tried to watch Dragged Across Concrete. Besides Michael Jai White’s absurd cheek implants, no chemistry between Vaughn and Gibson, a complete lack of energy in any scene; I don’t know how I made it as far as 20 minutes.
