Where’s the venue? They could be passing fees on from them.
When I saw Bad Religion at Paradise Rock Club I was in the upstairs VIP section riding the rail right next to the audio/lighting crew. That show was so epic

Event tickets are always buy early or pay high. Unless it’s a scam like Fyre Festival or ACE Festival.

I make it a habit of attending standing room only events and queuing 2 hours ahead of door opening.
This is a tour more for the hardcore fans since it's not really about the parodies or the costumes. It's mostly his originals and he won't be doing the big multimedia thing. I've been to one other concert like this one (the previous Ill-Advised Vanity Tour) and loved it. But of course, I am a hardcore fan, so...
Why not buy directly from his tour site? That's what I do. Or are you saying that happens when go from his site to the Ticketmaster site? I don't remember a huge markup like that for mine. The usual taxes and fees, which are bad enough, though.
I just caught a FB ad for his birmingham show. Then found one closer in Pensacola. But dang. Ticketmaster tossed on another $100 from prices listed on his tour site. Yeesh.

Reminds me that I have The Goonies on DVR, need to watch it before it expires so thanks
