Some of us don't see the big deal in joining in every week. Some do.

I don't think people view this game like, when they joined, they were signing a contract, or were somehow obligated to participate 'all the way'.

I never said that once they joined, they were here until the end. If so, I never would have posted this a few times . . . "Look at the list (http://www.movieforums.com/community/showthread.php?t=19298). If you want to be added on, or taken off, let me know."

As far as always joining in on the weekly theme . . . I didn't make anyone play this game, but I did list the rules. This is from the thread starter . . .

One other important rule is, if you want to be able to pick a theme, you must join in with the other themes, as well.

I made that rule to keep things fair. When this game got started, Martian Leader wasn't really joining in. The 1 to 2 times she did, she only joined in on Friday. We let her know that if she expected us to join in on her theme choice, she'd have to do the same with our theme choices. No one disagreed then, so I assumed everyone saw it as a fair rule. These are the exact same rules I made, when I created this game years ago.

This is my new avatar for the rest of the week. Though as it's not exactly in keeping with the theme, I will change it if MM feels it's too far outside the lines. In defence of it, she is in ET, she's holding a toy ET in the pic and Steven Spielberg is her Godfather. I tried to be nice and I think maybe I gave it a semi decent rating in my review thread, but that was only because I saw it with this guy (the one who turned me fabulously atheist) and it was the first movie we saw together, so I thought I should fall a little bit in love with the Star Trek movie, but in reality.... It's amazing that I didn't lapse into a coma, especially since they don't allow alarm clocks in movie theatres.

Used to be? It still is just as great. Yeah it did lose a bit of it's greatness in season 4 and 5, but I still enjoyed both seasons. I just hope the final season next year will be back to as great as the first three seasons.
