Well, if enough of you want to add the bulk of the holidays to this, then I can edit the holiday list. I've been working on the main list for a bit now, which is why this came to me.

OK, the "Themes Used (http://www.movieforums.com/community/showthread.php?p=549264)" list is done. I'm nowhere near done with the "Members" list yet, and I'm not even ready to think about the holiday section of that thread.

Once I am finished with the "Members" list, it will be left up to you all to let me know if you should be on or off of it. If you tell me that you are leaving the game, don't expect me to add you back to the list if you join back in randomly. You'll need to let me know. I can't keep "that" close of an eye on this thing. I won't double check the list every week in accordance to who all is playing again. Too time consuming.

I was searching for a few used theme ideas, and found the one post that I swore existed.

I'm not trying to cause problems. I've had several members request that I go back to Grampa Simpson, so I thought that was a good idea, especially when I found the mug shot.

I'd use this one if I was in, especially since (I'm pretty sure that) nobody else picked this flick . . .

I do not mind that this holiday is just full of $$$$$$ making schemes like so many others. I love Valentines and the big reason why is that it is so encompassing. Regardless of the marketing aspect of it, which I know turns quite a few away from many holidays, I like Feb' 14th. The big reason is that I can tell so many that they are my Valentine. Sure the day is truly meant for lovers, but it can also be a simple "Thanksgiving" of love to anyone. It may sound sexist, but I do not really care: I always give the ladies in my life something on this day. My Mother, my Lover, my daughter my grandaughter or a friend at work. I "love" giving something, even if it is small, to the women in my life - and for some reason the wonderful females that I am proud to have as company seem to enjoy the accolades they so deserve.

Happy Valentines to all the women of MOFO from a simple guy that likes to make things complicted.

Great theme idea! Tough decision though. There's the films I love made from books that I don't like so much (Blade Runner, Brokeback Mountain), the ok films made from my favourite books (Jane Eyre, 1984). However, because a few members didn't believe that we should have to join in every week, I got over it, and dropped all the rules. Also, I still would have left you in, anyway. I've always said that if the person misses a theme here and there for good reason, then I wouldn't knock them off the list. You're good to go, whenever your time comes. ;)

Still, I don't watch Anime. I have a rule about animation: it must be cute and/or funny or I'm not interested. What I've seen of anime (a friend of mine watches it obsessively), has fit neither requirement.
