My Thanksgiving movie recommendation is Pieces of April starring Katie Holmes. It's a quirky, realistic comedy about a young woman and her live-in boyfriend entertaining her family for Thanksgiving in their tiny apartment. Half the movie is spent in preparation mishaps and the other is the complaining and moaning that takes place on the drive over. I know; it sounds like so much fun! Patricia Clarkson is in it. Nuff said right there I think. I love Patricia.

Great Theme Jrs! But I'll be joining in tomorrow because it's Titanic Day in my own little world.

If you're wondering why or what Titanic Day is, it's very simple. Long story short, I had a day filled with coincedences involving the Titanic and the movie. It went on for about ten days until I watched the movie, and my friends and I found it so crazy that we kind of celebrate it every year.

It may be too ill-focused to show all the Christmas Joy intended in a photo the size of an avatar but it's a beautiful flick which needs to be watched by all. Remember the Night, which is available for sale on DVD at TCM only, but it will be shown on Christmas Eve at 8PM Eastern time on TCM.
