Okay, now my real picks.

Favorite Movie: The Empire Strikes Back
Favorite Director: Steven Spielberg
Favorite Actor: Denzel Washington
Favorite Actress: Claire Danes

Happy New Year from Philly!
Favorite movie--The Wizard of OZ

I can't think of any other movie that bears watching over and over and over again.

Favorite Actor--Goran Visnjic

Less for his skill than for his beauty. I am just taking my cue from you guys.

Favorite Actress--Bette Davis

She's a tough broad and she doesn't wear her eyebrows too high like Joan Crawford.

By the way the Asphalt Jungle is on TCM right now. This is a great caper gone wrong picture. An excellent cast of character actors and it is one of Marilyn Monroe's first movies.

Favorite Movie: Quills

It's such a fantastic mix of everything I love in movies: sex, humor, violence, cool costumes, cool sets and a great cast.

Favorite Actor: I don't know anymore. For a long time it was Joaquin Phoenix, but lately I've been so disgusted with his "rap career" that he just irritates me. Whether it's real or an elaborate hoax, it's a bad idea.

Favorite Actress: Kate Winslet

Banned from Hollywood.
Favorite movie: Taxi Driver..for everything it represents to the human psychology still to this day for me.
(followed by: Ikiru and Manhattan)

Favorite Actor: Al Pacino: Grand is too small a word. One oscar is not enough..this guy deserves all the oscars for every movie he has been nominated for..and then some more.
(followed by Jack Nicholson and Tom Hanks)

Favorite Actress: Naomi Watts... I love this woman.Oscar on the horizon (keeping fingers crossed for that one)
(followed by Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore)

Favorite Director: Woody Allen..genius is too small a word, although a lot would disagree and label him "boring, "monotonous" etc.
(followed by Michael Mann and Ingmar Bergman)
