Film Trivia Snippets - Before eventually going into production Gravity had been languishing in development hell for four years because the film's ambition in terms of cinematography, visual effects and realistic "story atmosphere" of outer space had been beyond the limits of the current technology.
Gatsby
Thus, the film tries to be one of those films that blends imagery and intense dialogue and acting together, yet fails on both parts.
Citizen Rules
In the films: Apollo 13 (1995) and Marooned (1969) we also see astronauts stranded in space, the drama is told to the audiences by superb acting and it's the actors who make us believe what we are seeing is real.
