Winner of the 6th HOF:

165 Points Nominated By: Friendly Mushroom
Mostly agree on this list. Fully agree on the live action stuff on it (expect that I found Man From Earth to be very good in fact), in fact I added the winner into my top 50 movies of all time list. Really amazing movie and I am happy that friendly mushroom nominated it. It was the best movie that I discovered in these competitions so far.

Though I obviously liked my nomination more than most it is still something that I knew there was a very high probability of people hating it here, still it was an experiment worth undertaking and part of my program on the forum's education on animation and contemporary popular culture. I am glad Neiba liked it.

Master of My Domain
Wow Raul, I know you hated Sonatine but how dare you place it beneath K-On?

(Didn't see Blue Car)

I had a hard time ordering, especially around the middle of the list. Top 6 were easy.

I can't help but wonder what the list would have looked like if all the films had stayed in. I think Das Boot would have been a worthy winner.

But I'm fine with All Quiet on the Western Front. It's a good film, it got mostly positive reactions, and it's nice to see some interest in a 30s film. I'm quite looking forward to when we eventually get round to the MoFo Top 100 of the 1930s, so I have an excuse to watch some more films from that decade.

This was a fun hall of fame, thanks for hosting it. I was glad to finally watch Raise the Red Lantern and Woman in the Dunes particularly.

Congrats Mushroom, I feel that your nomination is a truly great movie and a worthy winner. I loved participating in this HoF; although I didn't especially like every movie, they all had their positives and none were difficult to watch.

The thing isolated becomes incomprehensible
Wow! I'm so happy about the winner! Congrats Mushroom, great nomination and the only movie that placed higher than my own nomination on my own list.
And Fail-Safe ranked pretty high too! I like to think that I'm a bit responsible if it appears on the 60s list, and that was my goal when I nominated it!

It was a great HoF, congrats to everyone for a lot of amazing nominations and to sean for being such a great host!

Onibaba? That would've been my number 1. Hopefully you're thinking of your 60's list.

Ya, I noticed the mistake! I wrote Onibaba instead of Suna no onna (Swan's nomination). I sent a message to sean. If he didn't notice the mistake, it probably means that Swan won this HoF!

It’s A Classic Rope-A-Dope
I noticed. Woman In The Dunes received the correct score. I thought that was going to be the winner. It had a very low placing that probably kept it from winning.

I already deleted the lists but I think I was the person who put All Quiet lowest on their list. Just didn't grab me.

Trouble with a capital "T"
You guys really don't like Foreign Correspondent. I should have joined, I would have most likely ranked it high.

Question: in a nut shell what are people not liking about Foreign Correspondent?
