The Shoutbox
and they basically made Ultron a whiny little bitch when he's really like one of the most powerful villains in the MCU. they could have easily made a 2-3 movie storyline for him. but nope, we got an emo lord.
Age of Ultron had some of the weakest CGI up to that point. Like that opening fight scene looked like a college final finished on an overnighter.
Jeez, old Hollywood films from the 1950s could be so poetic. They could make them with their eyes closed. Now they can't make them at all.
uhm....
yeah, I did that on purpose, quoting MrM instead of Yoda.

same, so far.
I usually really dislike movies on a first watch. same for albums. it usually take a year or so for me to separate from whatever influences may have existed to really enjoy a thing.

i feel so shallow.

An avid student of both Ozu and classic painting, Yoshida made a film that's at the opposite end of Ozu's late masterpieces and proposes (along with The Affair and Heroic Pirgatoryet all) a wholly different approach to filmmaking (more striking nd unique visually than most other Japanese New Wave masterpieces). This is true art of cinema, with every frame endlessly thought through, over, and out.
I might actually post this in my thread along with some screencaps. All other films feel so puny and inferior in comparison.
