The Mofo Top 100 Television Shows

A loving heart is the truest wisdom.
Avatar was #1 on my list. Shame it didn't place higher but I guess I should be glad it made it at all since lots of people I know dismiss simply because it's a Nickelodeon show.

I didn't vote for Golden Girls, but I think that's only because I haven't seen it in awhile. While I was in college I used to watch it every morning while I ate my breakfast. It was a nice part of my daily routine.

I love Bea Arthur and Betty White. They made the show for me.

I haven't seen Avatar: The Last Airbender, but it looks like something I might like .

78. Archer (2009-)

Theme Song

Quote: Sterling Archer: God, it's like my brain's that tree and you're those little cookie elves. ~ Sterling Archer

An animated comedic series about a self-centered spy and those he interacts with.

The agency he works for is known as ISIS. However, that name will no longer be used so that there is no confusion that the series is connected to the other ISIS.

Time warp: The series is written to deliberately confuse the viewer as to what time period it is set in. Fidel is mentioned as the current leader of Cuba but other references to the time period contradict that could possibly be the case.

Series revamp and back again: In season five the series went vice with many of the gang being affected by cocaine distribution. However, season six is going back to the original format.

Points: 56

Placements: 1 14th, 1 12th, 1 16th 1 8th 1 24th

77. Prison Break (2005 -2009)

Theme Song

Quote: Of course, if I were you, I wouldn’t leave my brother behind either. ~ Fernando Sucre

A serial-drama about a wrongly imprisoned man on death row and the brother who devises a plan to help him escape.

Jump the Shark Moment: Prison Break was conceived to be a one season show, so many feel that continuing on after that was jumping the shark.

Best moment: Reunion of Michael and Sara.

Points: 57

Placements: 1 8th, 1 12th, 1 1st

i don't think i've ever seen archer, but i really should watch it. heard good things.

never seen prison break but i remember seeing ads for it and it looked pretty stupid.

I've seen a few episodes of Archer and it's really, really funny. If you're not a fan of crass humor you should give it a pass, otherwise I'd recommend it.

Never seen Prison Break.

Fun list fact #7 At 77 Prison Break marks the first show with a serial-drama formula to make the list.

FINALLY something I voted for!

I had Archer at #14. It could've been higher were it not for the whole vice thing in season 5, but I think it's a brilliant show overall. Full of sex, violence and sarcastic humor, it's definitely my kind of show.

Archer is something I've yet to see but always thought might appeal. Pretty sure I made it to epsisode 6 of Prison Break before deciding it was just too preposterous to bother with.

Never seen Avatar but i have a friend that likes it, so i might give it a shot at one point. Golden Girls was before my time and i don't even remember ever being on TV over here, so i haven't watched that either.

I should really get back to Archer because i watched the first three episodes about a year ago and really liked. Prison Break is pretty much the definition of "jumping the shark" imo.. Season 1 is still among my favourites from any show. Then they escaped..., i watched 2 and 3 then just gave up; i still have no idea how it finished and dont really care.

My wife used to watch prison break; I watched a few episodes with her and liked what I saw. If I saw more of it, it could've potentially made my list.

Never heard of Archer.

Watched season one of Prison Break and found it overall enjoyable despite how preposterous it is. Haven't rushed to get around to the other seasons, although I will get to them eventually, there are just too many episodes.

Archer's great, didn't make my list, but like Vicky says the recent Vice season was pretty weak and a low point for the series. Even with the mediocre season 5 it's still better than most currently running shows.

Wow two I've seen
Well, not seen many eps of Archer, but it is funny so def see why people have it in their top 25.
I've seen all the Prison Break series. It started off really well but it was a real chore to finish season 4, and only did it for a sense of completion. I liked T-Bag, he was a great baddie.

I'm the one who ranked Prison Break at #1, and it's also the first from my list to make it.
