I'm surprised no one has added Ghost Rider.... it is definitely going on my list...
This might be the biggest piece of crap ever made.

Stuck in the middle with you.
I heard Ghostrider sucked.
BTW-I can't believe no one's mentioned HITMAN, a sad case of the good ideas but too much **** to dig threw disease

Will your system be alright, when you dream of home tonight?

I hated Ghost Rider... but Donal Logue I like

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
Why did you stop with Duck Soup, Caity? WSS Lover, can you explain that post because you've got some terrific films on there.

Ragging on the Body Snatchers remake? You mean the one from the 70s? Because that is certainly not a bad film, and contains one of the most memorable endings in film history.

Also - Blow Up? The Antonioni film? Come on now!

Deliverance is certainly not a bad film, either. I take it the subject matter wasn't your cup of tea?

Caity hit the nail on the head, with Ghost Rider. Terrible stuff.

Of the films I have seen (and ignoring obvious crap like Epic Movie):

Titanic
I'm not sure if it is truely an awful movie. But compared to how great everyone was saying while it was in the theaters, it sucks.

Love Guru
This did have a couple of funny moments, but aside from those it was just painful to watch. There is comedy that makes you feel uncomfortable because of the subject matter, this made be feel uncomfortable for the people in the movie.

Funny Games
Again, probably not an awful movie. But it is nowhere near as smart as the director thinks it is. And is exploitive, even given the context of its message. You can't tell us we're horrible people for wanting to see that kind of violence, then rub our noses in it, then arbitrarily draw the line (ie when the kid gets kid...off screen), it takes all the power out of the message.

Enough/Angel Eyes
This is a tie, for the same reason: J Lo. Crappy writing, crappy acting.

Pearl Harbor
Never has sacrifice for our country seemed so meaningless.

Heavy Metal
Yeah, some of the stories are kind of interesting, but they really only serve as a framework from which to hang softcore cartoon porn.

Batman and Robin (1997)
I'll just say: "Ice skating Batman."

The Happening
Way to blow all of the cred and good will M. Knight. Again, ruined by crappy dialog, chracters so shallow you could walk through them without getting your shoes wet, a threadbare plot, and direction completely lacking in suspense.

Analyze This
Probably not actually bad, but I definitely found it to be obnoxious.

Hostel
Again, another one people seemed to be all over when it came out. I suppose it should fall under B level horror, but as it was at the height of the torture porn wave, it will catch my wrath.

Here is a list of the absolute worst movies ever created by man.

I would say that I agree with 100% of them.

Troll 2 was okay, but Troll was just awful... Im not looking forward to seeing Troll 3: The Crawlers, because it would be like Troll...

Dachshunds Fear Me
Still working on a full Top 10, but the worst piece of dreck I ever saw was something I came across on cable last week - 1974's BLOOD FOR DRACULA (aka ANDY WARHOL'S DRACULA). With Udo Kier, and featuring a cameo by Roman Polanski, it's badly acted, badly shot - just plain baaaaaaaaaad.

It was like watching a car wreck - it was horrible, yet I couldn't look away...

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
Well, I watched Andy Warhol's Dracula and Frankenstein at a revival theatre over 30 years ago. I guess Dracula was more boring, but although I wouldn't ever suggest anyone watch either one, they didn't seem all that bad, compared to all the obvious choices, but they're lousy enough, I suppose.

Awful films:

The Girl With The Pearl Earring (it was about absolutely nothing)
Stuck on You (basically any film that falls into this genre)

The Girl With The Pearl Earring (it was about absolutely nothing)
The narrative was quite clear to me, and I rather liked the use of color and the cinematography in this flick. Sure, the film is all about understatement, as far as the performances and plot lines, but that doesn't mean it (the film) doesn't have things to say. I enjoyed the subtle longing the characters began to go through, as their forbidden attraction for one another grew. It slowly coalesced, like a painting, before our eyes.

Although the film is clearly not historically accurate, I felt like the world was convincing and it nailed the stuffy, tight ass attitude that was prevalent in that so-called "proper" era.

All this aside, the film looks GREAT, and that alone should keep it off any "worst ever" list, as far as I am concerned. With films like Troll 2 and Ishtar out there, there just has to be better choices for the list.

As for Stuck on You - Damn right.

I said it before and I'll say it again: Troll sucked.. So it HAS to be on my #1 worst film ever made. I wouldn't add Troll 2 because I liked it, so that partially covers my top 10.

Hey, I like it too, but only because it is the worst **** I have ever seen, like, ever. I can't stop laughing. I love how it's called Troll 2, but the creatures are goblins.
