Gangster Rap is Shakespeare for the Future
I loved that film. I need more Portuguese in my life.
Ruiz normally works in France (he's originally from Chile) and he has many great films from there. There's always 87 years of Manoel de Oliveira films (though he made only shorts for a good period of time) to see. I haven't seen anything from Pedro Costa, but heard a lot of good things and was planning on checking him out soon.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

I had actually intended to watch this long time favorite yesterday but ran out of time. Today I'm gonna watch it in celebration of its appearance on the 80s List.

I'm not old, you're just 12.

This was my favorite movie as a kid. I saw it so many times at the cinema with my older brother, and that year on my birthday I got Roger Rabbit everything.

I must rewatch this one now too.

Funny movie

One of my favorite scenes:
Yeah, that was easily the best scene in the film.

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
Wanted to watch it the other day, but was scared by its length.

Today I continue my Kurosawa streak with High and Low!

The original or the remake?

Jailbait

I found this film by accident and it does sound like an interesting film despite being released by the same people who made Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus...

His third best, maybe.

Edit: Fourth, actually. Other than Psycho I also prefer Rear Window over North by Northwest.

Finished here. It's been fun.
The 400 Blows-This year I've made it my goal to check out numerous classics I haven't seen before, so continuing that streak with this film which I have heard nothing but great things about.

And when I'm all alone I feel I don't wanna hide

The ending to High and Low is absolutely chilling. It stuck with me for days. Here's hoping you enjoy it.
