That’s interesting. I might actually try that. I’m weird as I have most movie subscriptions out there, and I do use them all, but at the same time, I hate smart TVs. I’d almost rather watch stuff off my laptop via separate apps. I was talked into getting a smart TV against my will, essentially, and now the apps more or less work and don’t need updating (that I know of), but the TV part does not. So I cannot actually watch TV off my smart TV. Yet I pay for the TV license… You couldn’t make it up.

Yeesh, that makes "smart" seem like just a gimmick, doesn't it? Imagine getting a new video game console, but not being able to play games that come out six months after it's released.

Good to know about Apple, though. Will consider it.

I felt like it, but it's my own fault because my old TV's gone from smart to dumb, i.e., the apps don't upgrade any more. Probably need to do all of that with a Roku or Chromecast.

The majority of the time I order online and use the personal shopper option. It's just those quick (yeah right) pop-ins for a few items that are needed for meals and whatnot which turn into a soul sucking experience like John said. They didn't have that available yet during COVID and that was a freaking steeplechase. I covered twice the distance I should have just avoiding people.
UGH. For those quick "I forgot things" trips, I use the neighborhood grocery store about a half mile away. I like supporting them anyway, and they're usually not overly crowded (and often have more checkout lanes open than the Walmart ).
