It's a great soothing theme song but for me doesn't go at all with the film, it would be much more fitting for Dances With Wolves or something like that.

IMO, the music that best captured the essence of a television show or movie was Nelson Riddle's theme for Route 66.
If we're talking tv theme tunes a lot of the ones I love are from my childhood. I remember reminiscing with Honeykid about these a few years back
