Also as Thursday Next said why such a low rating for Butch Cassidy? Like you FM I didn't enjoy the film but it certainly isn't worth a one star rating.

I haven't been watching too much 60s stuff these last months, but still there are a few really worthy ones to recommend:

Any study of films of the 60's would be incomplete without seeing the five films Funny Face mentioned here.

I saw Breakfast At Tiffany's on TV many years ago, but I don't remember much of it and probably should watch it again.

You loaned me Valley of the Dolls when we were still working together. I didn't care for it. I probably ought to rewatch The Sound of Music but I'm pretty sure I'll still hate it.

I may ask to borrow the others at some point.

Yes, the original version starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. is from 1960.

I saw Butch a long time ago (meaning shortly after I first watched Psycho meaning when I started to become a film bluff) and I just found it boring, I didn't really like the title characters, the ending and "Who are those guys?!" If I watch it again, I'll probably like it better but I'm keeping my original score as it is in the mean time.
