Film that made you cry

Totally! I had my hopes so high, although I knew that ending it any way else would make it less realistic...

I didn't cry. I vividly remember watching it and saw the sail boat, the wind, the rain, and I turned to my then husband, and said:



I was too angry to cry. Obviously, I hadn't read the book.

Haha. I didn't read the book earlier. I wasn't surprised, just horribly disappointed.

Myy eyes got wet when I saw The Godfather and Michael's first wife got blown away.

I don't cry too easily at movies - although I did just have a nice sob at THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE - but some of the movies that have gotten to me include BIG FISH, GLADIATOR, SCHINDLER'S LIST, and - I'm serious - BLACK HAWK DOWN. The final scene in BLACK HAWK DOWN just destroyed me, and that Joe Strummer version of "The Minstrel Boy," had me crying all the way through the credits.

Burton's,Sweeney Todd. It's the most intense, heart wrenching love story (via his adaptation) or if you will...interpretation. I wept. The Champ (1979)

starring Jon Voight, Faye Dunaway, Jack Warden, and Rick Schroeder.

Hands down, this is the one movie that made me cry when I watched it as a young boy, and it still puts a lump in my throat when I watch it today.
